Devine Justice: Chapter Eight "Danil Elstin"

Danil was born in St. Petersburg in Russia, he and his brother were taught how to use weapons by their father when each of them turned fifteen. Once Danil turned nineteen he was forced into the Russian army. He stayed there until he turned twenty-three as did his brother.
Danil’s father built the assassination bureau in Buffalo while Danil was in his last year of the army. When it was built the family was living off the money they earned from the bureau back in St. Petersburg, they didn’t get any money for a few months, when they finally did get work business started getting better and better.
Danil met his wife when he came out of the army and they were going out for another five years before they got a house together and met Katie, another year later they got married. They had a huge wedding and an amazing honeymoon.
Vladimir Elstin, Danil’s father, raised the two brothers on his own when Danil was five, Vladimir’s wife died from cancer at the age of thirty-seven. Elstin women have never lived a long life, the youngest died at the age of seventeen and the oldest dieing at fifty-four, Danil’s wife is now thirty-five and is still standing strong.
The business itself is actually a lounge bar, if a customer wanted someone killed, they would simply go up to one of the Elstins and hand them a note with either a number to contact  them or information on where to talk, one of the Elstins would then go and talk to the customer then do some research on the victim. The assassin can refuse to go through with an assassination if he wished. On average they would get one assassination per month, every couple months they would get a lucky streak and get an assassination a week.
The bureau was a beautiful place, very calming place. Black marble floors with red carpeting held down with gold dividing strips, there were black marble walls dividing the entrance hall from the lounge zones, the walls were 3 foot tall with the same design on the floors except instead of carpet it was a thin coat of red paint. There were gold pillars holding the roof up. Both lounge zones were symmetrical. In the lounge were a lot of booths with red velvet upholstery wrapped around in a semi circle with a black faux-marble table that is just over knee height. At the end of each lounge, there was a Bar. The bar was dim the wall at the back was covered in bottles whiskies, beers and spirits. Underneath the shelves of the bar were fridges tidily stacked with beers and alcho-pops and another filled with soft-drinks and bottled water. Hanging off of the fridges were peanut displays. The bartenders were Vladimir, Danil’s brother, Anne (an old Irish woman) and on some days Danil himself.
Danil only worked in the bar when he liked, he had fun at the bar, but if he had a hit he wouldn’t work for a couple of days but he’d be back working strong.
When Danil was assigned a hit he would do the same thing. On the day he’s notified he would go to the local gun shop to buy clips for his guns. The next day he would devise his plan to kill him, that includes going to where he lives, or wherever the location was that was specified, steak out the place and find anywhere that would be good enough to take aim at the victim. The day after that he would return to the customer and accept or reject the hit. The next day he would take his SV-98 out of storage, a ‘secret compartment’ in other words a false bottom of a big toolbox in his garage. The last day he would pack clothes or anything he would need and the SV-98. He would return to the bureau sort out some papers and switch cars,  then he would leave for the assassination.
When Danil arrived at the victims house he would go to the place where he thought was the best place to kill them. He would set up in his equipment. There would be some days he would be so devoted to his kill that he would stay where he was for hours on end, not even stopping for a bathroom break. In some cases there would be no toilet around it annoyed him but he was good at what he did so he wouldn’t leave his post.

The Day he confessed to his wife, he sat her down and told her the truth,
“My Dear, I have not been completely honest with you, I must tell you what my real job is. I cannot tell anyone normally but when we Elstins are about to get married we do tell our fiancé’s.” Danil confessed.
“What do you mean Honey, tell me what you are trying to say!” Danils fiancée yelled.
“I am not just a assistant manager at my fathers bar, when I am away I am being paid to kill people…” Danil admitted while his wife stared with an open mouth.
“I am  an assassin…” His fiancée mouth stayed open.
    “You KILL  people?!?!?” she yelled
“shhhhh… I could have people watching me right now!” he said in a quiet yet yelling tone.
“But you kill people…” she said
    “Please, stay calm.”
    “You Kill people!”
“Yes we are past that now, please, I just want to know are we still going to get married?” he said, fearing she’d say no
“…has there ever been much risk? Have you ever gone to jail? Who have you killed?” she said in a panic
“No one big… Just people who have been hated!”
    “Hated?”
“Yes! People come to us and we find out if Nobody likes them, if they are  loved, by say a family, Wife etc. we don’t allow the killing. We do a lot of research before and after the killing.”
“That doesn’t take away from the fact you MURDER PEOPLE!”
“shhh! I told you! Be quiet!”
“We will talk later!” she said as she picked up her gym bag and left.

Danil walked through the door of the gym and walked by the desk
“excuse me sir! You can’t go through there, unless you’re a member!” The woman behind the counter said.
“I just need to see someone” Danil said stopping at the door.
“I’m sorry sir I can’t let you through there”
“What if I ask again?” he said slipping her a  twenty dollar note.
    “Five minutes!”
    “thank you.”
He walked through the doors and approached a  woman on a treadmill,
“Excuse me have you seen a woman about this size,” he said holding his hand just above shoulder.
“Black hair, this length,” he continued now holding his hand by his neck.
“Umm, in her early thirties.” He finished.
“I’m sorry but half of the women that come here fit that description.” The woman replied.
“It is ok I will try to find her.” he said walking away.
    “Good luck…”
“How did you get in here? This is a women’s only gym!”
“I have my ways!” he said with a wink
He walked away looking at all the women on all the different pieces of equipment, eventually he came across a swimming pool, there was four women swimming back and forth, he walked up to one pedestal where a woman was swimming up to, she raised her head.
“Is the water ok?” he said with a smirk
“What are you doing in here?” she said
    “I came for you!”
“How did you even get in?” she said getting out of the pool,
“I bribed the receptionist.” he said following her to the ladder
    “Why did you come here?”
“Just like I said, I am here for you. I want to know if you are alright.”
“I am fine,” she said picking up a towel
“Just go home, we will  talk later, like I said” she continued
“Please, I am not going home, I came all this way”
She stopped drying herself and listened to Danil with her arms closed.
    “Talk!”
“Look, I just wanted to know if you still love me, and if we are still getting married because I love you and I really want to marry you.”
A smile grew on his fiancées face,
“I do still love you but… I need some time alone, I will be moving to my mothers house for a few weeks.” she said hanging her head,
Danils hands dropped, he stared at her with a frown and spun around
“I will see you when you get home, whenever that will be…”
He started to walk out of the gym and as he passed the woman from earlier she stopped him,
“So did you find her?” she said
“Yes, yes I did.” he said as he pushed by her.
He hung his head and walked faster out of the door. As he passed the receptionist she stood up and said
“Five minutes on the dot sir. did you find her?”
“…No, no I  could not find her.” he said changing his mind.
“Oh I’m sorry sir, you’ll find her, don’t worry”
“Thank you” he said with a smile
He turned and started to frown again, he walked out of the gym and got into his car and drove home.

As he got home he climbed into bed and lay there with the TV on.

Three weeks later he got a phone call, he answered it.
    “hello?” he asked
    “Danil? It is your fiancée.”
“hi honey… wait, you said fiancée! Does that mean you will”
“yes. Yes I will marry you!” she said with tears in her voice.
“YES! BRILLIANT! THE WEDDING IS ON!” he shouted
“I was talking with Katie, she said it shouldn’t matter what your job is and she convinced me to stay with you. My mother could not be happier to get me out of the house.” she said almost crying.
He hung up the phone and drove to his fiancées mothers house. When he got there he lifted her up and put her in the car, he took her bags and put them in the boot, and drove off waving goodbye to the future mother-in-law.

Devine Justice: Chapter seven “Katie Reese”

When Danil woke up he found himself covered in sweat even though it was minus three degrees Celsius outside. He looked to his right to see his wife sleeping soundly. It was still dark out but Danil still couldn’t sleep right, he got out of bed and went down into the kitchen to make some coffee. He stared at the clock on the microwave
“5:32 am” he said quietly to himself.
“too early” he continued.
He poured himself a cup of coffee and began to drink it at the dinner table in the dark. As he sat down he held his head in his hands. There was a stack of women’s magazines to his right underneath half of the pile was a car magazine. He pulled the magazine out and stood up with the coffee in his hand and walked into the living room and put his mug onto the coffee table and sat with his magazine.
Half an hour later he heard a ring on the doorbell. He hesitated to open it but the bell rang faster and faster so he opened the door quickly, his wife’s friend Katie pushed through the door but Danil didn’t see it was her, he quickly drew his m9 and aimed at her. She raised her hands in the air.
“don’t shoot it’s just me, Katie” she said in fear.
“oh! Shit! I am So sorry, I get paranoid” he said with a nervous smile.
“Wait… what are you doing here?” he asked
“I need your help! And I hear you can help me” she said scared.
“with what I am just a garbage man!”
“Oh really? Then how did I hear that you killed six men two days ago?”
“What who told you this?!? I told you before I work in waste disposal!”
“Roscoe!”
Danil paused for a while.
“what do you need help with?” he asked giving up the protest
“I think I’m being stalked! And I’m afraid he will take it too far.”
“Do you need me to be your body guard?”
“Exactly! Can you do it?”
“I would say so. I would not be able to earn money from work…”
“I can pay you!”
“No, I could not you are our friend I could not take money from a friend”
“it wont kill you! Besides you’ll be protecting my life, That’s a huge deal!”
“Please you are my friend. I will protect you. Free of charge.”
There was silence between the two. They smiled at each other as Danil lead her into the sitting room to get details. They sat down on two separate couches and chatted before getting the details on Katie’s stalker. As they started to talk, Danil took a notepad out of a drawer in the corner of the two couches and wrote on it.

Devine Justice: chapter six "Luka, Maks and Victor"

“If it happens again, Please tell me!” Danil heard his father say in his head. Danil was just about to go to bed at this point. He put the covers over him and began to drift away.

“Hello?” an elderly woman said.
“Hello, how may we help you” Maks said kindly.
“I need someone to be killed!” the woman said.
Luka, Maks and Viktor’s eyes widened and their hearts started to race.
“I’m sorry miss but we cannot help you there!” Luka said as he wrote down on a piece of paper. The woman looked at Luka confused. Then, as Luka turned the page to let the woman read, he walked away as the woman read the page.
“meet me outside in 2 minutes.” The woman looked at Maks, then at Viktor. Then Viktor nodded. She walked away, turned around then walked a little more and went outside the door. Viktor scrunched up the piece of paper and threw it into a small bin.
Exactly two minutes later Maks arrived outside the building beside the nervous old woman.
“come with me!” He said Hastily and he walked around the side of the three story, Victorian/modern for that time, building.
“Ok firstly, we assassins work in secret. You must never announce that you need someone to be killed. Just come in and hand us a piece of paper giving ourselves the details.” he said taking the hat off his head.
“Oh I am so sorry!” she said
“it is OK. If you could give me the details now I can put one of my men on the job as soon as I can!”
“Here is his address.” The nervous woman said holding out a piece of paper.
Maks took the piece of paper and put it into his front pocket. Maks turned around and walked through the back door of the building he worked in. The old woman headed to the side of the building and went home.
Maks proceeded towards the counter in the entrance of the office. Viktor, Luka and Maks grouped together and read the piece of paper all it had written on it was one address. They decided to spy on the house listed in the address.
Maks, Luka and Viktor decided to walk to the address. Once there they found a small bungalow which was the number on the paper. They looked across the street at a small hotel. Perfect place to spy. They looked at each other and walked towards the hotel and decided to get one room with three windows. But there was none. Instead they got three separate rooms. They each had a telephone in the rooms and a pair of binoculars which they packed themselves.
They waited in one room until they saw any Movement. After two hours of waiting around they spotted someone going into the house. They assumed it was who they were after. Maks went to the window and looked through his binoculars and watched the man. Three hours had past and no one else had come into the house. They guessed that the man in the house was who they had to kill but good assassins never kill someone who is believed to be the target, they know who the target is.
One more hour had past and there was still no other people in the house. They decided to go and kill him, he had to be the guy who was supposed to be killed. The men left the hotel and walked across to the house. The men approached a side entrance where they found an open window, leading into a kitchen. They climbed through the window, without making a sound they looked inside the next room, Which was clear. They then proceeded to the next room which was empty. The closer they got to the stairway the louder the sound of the mans Victrola got. The men quietly walked up the stairs and arrived at a door left slightly ajar, Maks pushed the door slowly open and peered inside. The man was sitting in a red leather chair facing a fireplace directly in front of the door. Maks opened the door fully and sneaked behind the chair, Luka kept watch on the staircase and victor was waiting outside the room. Maks slowly rose above the chair and quickly grabbed the man by the chin and slit his throat. The man groaned for a few seconds before hitting the ground with a massive thump which even Luka heard. The men ran out of the stairway and out of the window. They strolled out of the side entrance so as not to cause any suspicion to them. They went back to the hotel to check out. Which is when the dream ended.

{An assassins story} Chapter five "Roscoe"

Danil came home to his wife during the afternoon. He and his wife arrived at the door of his house at the same time that Danil did. They smiled at each other as Danil opened the door. Danil stopped behind his wife and picked up a bunch of letters that piled up in front of the door. They split into different rooms and didn’t say a word to each other for another twenty minutes.
“Danil! What happened with the car?” Danil’s wife said peering out of the kitchen window.
“The Gangsters working for my last hit noticed I killed him…” Replied Danil
Danil’s wife sighed
“Don’t worry I will take the car to Roscoe as soon as I can.” Danil said.
“You need to fix the car before the police see it. Call roscoe now!”
*dial tone*
“hello, Roscoe’s repayment office how can I help?” said a typical New Yorker voice
“hello comrade. It’s Danil!”
“Ah Mr. Danil, its been a while!”
“yes well I have had a good run of clean assassinations until today.”
“well you know what to do! I’m open ‘til 9, drop the car in and I’ll fix it in the morning!”
“I can always rely on you roscoe!”
“see you when you get here”
“Goodbye Comrade!”
*dial tone*

“Ok my wife, I am going to Roscoe’s now, I will see you when I get back!” Danil said to his wife as he closed his phone.
Danil opened the door to his car, which was covered in bullet holes, he looked around his neighbourhood to look out for police. He got inside the car and made a start on the twenty minute journey to Roscoe’s.
He arrived at Roscoe’s twenty-five minutes later. He drove in through two blue gates four times the height of his car. Inside were cars that had been broken, battered, striped and remade. He parked his car behind a beige Cadillac El Dorado. He stepped out of his car and walked towards a building inside the building, as he passed by the Cadillac he peered inside and noticed it was covered in blood. He started to walk faster looking around at all of the cars. Among them were some great cars that had been ruined, Ferraris, Bugatti’s and Lamborghinis. He walked into the office of the biggest building of the garage were he saw a blonde woman working at a computer and turned to face a window were he saw a man working underneath a car, he turned back around a sat in one of the ten seats lining the walls.
Danil waited in the reception area for another five minutes. Until Roscoe entered the room. Roscoe winked at the blonde woman and turned to Danil.
“Danil! Long time.” He said
“Comrade Roscoe, I have missed you.” Danil replied, giving Roscoe a small hug with one arm.
“Ok let’s see what you did to this car!”
“Yes I had trouble after I killed a Man from Queens.”
“Ah. I see. Was he well protected?”
“Yes five gangsters followed him. I got away but the gangsters had already seen me. I got into my car and drove off… then I passed them by. And they chased me for a while”
“Ouch! Ok so you used the decoy I see. That’s good I can easily fix this.”
“Great now how do I get home…”
“I can give you a ride to your HQ if you need me to. Then you can pick up your real car! Are you still driving that A4?”
“No, no. I have a new car, I bought it last year. Chevy Camaro.”
They walked towards a 2006 BMW M5 and stepped inside. Eventually they reached the Bureau and Danil stepped out of the car.
“Thank you Roscoe, I will be back when you call.”
“OK Danil I’ll call you once the car is ready to drive.”
Danil closed the door to his Friends M5 and waved goodbye. He turned around and walked through the door of the bureau and approached the desk. He rummaged around the desk to see if he had anymore assassinations. He found nothing but he saw his brothers next hit. His name was Charlie Fox, ironically he was Korean but adopted into an American family, which ruined half of his life, which is why someone paid to have him killed. He was a drug addict and a wife beater but he was smart so he was never caught.
“I was told you would be here later.” Said a voice from behind him.
Danil span around in his chair and looked at his elderly father with a grin.
“Well it was a pretty easy job!” Danil said with the same grin.
“where is the car?” Vladimir said looking out both tinted windows by the entrance.
The grin fell off Danil’s face as he heard his father.
“Um… There was a problem with the car.” Danil said ashamed of himself. Vladimir’s head fell.
“What happened?” he said with a sigh.

*The Story*

“…So I dropped it off at Roscoe’s to get it fixed.” Danil Continued
“Did any police see you?” His father asked, a little calmer now that he had heard the story.
“No. I was very careful not to let any see me.”
“well then. You have no more assassinations left. You can stay home and relax until something comes up.”

Danil left the Bureau to go home. He left in his Camaro. The sun was setting but it wasn’t easy to see the sun, just the purple skies which could enhance any mood you may be in and could set the perfect stage for any ending to a story, movie or book. Unfortunately this very story isn’t near big enough so it isn’t ending just yet.

{an assassins story} Chapter Four "G-dog"

Danil Prepared the coffee machine, then ran upstairs to pack clothes for the trip to queens. Two minutes later he heard the coffee  machine  beeping and his wife calling him. Danil ran downstairs and made a cup of coffee for himself then went back upstairs to finish packing.
When Danil finished packing he walked downstairs with the suitcase, very carefully. In his arsenal was his trademark Sniper Rifle, the Beretta with the silencer, a survival knife and three magazines for each gun. He had each part of each gun wrapped in a piece of clothing. Danil was a very smart assassin, he knew how to hide the weapons, he knew how to work the police and he could smuggle anything.
Danil was taught by his father, Vladimir, and he was taught by his father, Damian, and he was taught by his father, Aleksandr, and he was taught by his father and his uncle, Ivan and Lazar, they were taught by their father and uncles, Luka, Maks and Viktor, who started the business however their father was still an assassin who assisted the Jews leaving Russia during 1880 his name was Adrian who was taught by his father, Arkadi, who was taught by his Grandfather, Grigory, who’s son refused to assassinate anyone. Grigory was taught by his uncle because his father refused to assassinate Grigorys uncles name was unknown because that was where the trail ended.
The few names that I have underlined are to be noted for future reference.
Danil had this family tree in the lobby of his company. This was a nice piece on top of the fire place. It was a big picture of an actual tree with each family member with a separate branch.

Danil walked to the back of his Chevy Camaro and put his suitcase into the trunk, he shut the trunk and stepped into the drivers seat and switched on the engine and placed his phone into the hand free set as usual. He then reversed out of his driveway and said goodbye to his wife who was standing at the doorway.
He later arrived at the car park of his company. He stepped inside and approached the desk. He went into the drawer where he left the files and found the current Barrette m9, he has packed in his bag, and he found a Glock. Vladimir approached Danil without him noticing.
“Well you took my Barrette, I need a gun to protect myself” Vladimir said to surprise Danil
“That is a reasonable explanation.” Danil said completely calm.
Vladimir walk around to face Danil’s face.
“are you off again?”
“Yes father, I will be heading to queens.”
“Do you need anymore guns?”
“I have as all I need!”
Danil approached the family tree and pointed to a name saying ‘Aleksandr’.
“This man? Your Grandfather? Was he involved… in World War Two?” He asked in a snappy tone
“He, my son, was involved in the Assassination of Dmitri Titov, Dmitri was a…”
“A double Agent working for the axis!”
“Have I told you the story son?”
“No, no the strange thing is I had a dream that I was him…”
“what do you mean son?”
“I Mean! Last night I Dreamt I was living the life of Aleksandr Elstin…”
“That is very strange, my son. But it was probably just a coincidence. If it happens again, Please tell me!”
“I will father, I will.”
“Once you get back I need to talk to you about what happened in the dream!”
Danil started to walk slowly away from the poster and walked out the door. He stepped into the Decoy Honda civic. He turned around and left his bag in the back seat. He backed out of the car park and drove out to Queens.

Danil arrived in Queens Eight hours later. He stopped In a motel for an hour, but he was in Queens none the less. He stopped off at a small motel at 118th street, G-dog lived at 121st street. Danil grabbed his bag and went to his room in the Motel. He staggered up to his bed and fell asleep on top of it.

He woke up in shock after he realised he had dreamt the same dream again exactly as it was the last time. Maybe it meant something, maybe it didn’t. He wasn’t sure if that that happened in the dream, was what happened the day of the assassination. When he read the clock it said 8:45, G-dog wont be on the move for another ten hours. If he went there now G-dog would be asleep, it would be an easy assassination.
Danil rose from his bed and changed clothes. If he killed G-dog now he could be home by the next day and would have time to see his wife’s mother. There would be no need to unpack either. He took out the Berretta and the knife.
“Maybe I should have brought a sub-machine gun…” He said to himself as he looked at his weapons.
He left the house with a light amount of weapons for such an assassin. He got outside and started to walk to G-dogs home on 121st street. He reached a small house which looked run down, he looked at G-dogs profile and knew he was at the right address.
Danil thought the only way to break into a house like his, was through the front door. He took out a small glasses case from his jacket pocket, out of that came a few steel toothpick-like bars which he inserted into the lock. He messed around with them trying to make it look like he was entering his own home. The lock was open within a matter of seconds and Danil walked inside without any suspicion. Inside the house was five gang members all with a piece of green clothing. They were all awake and once Danil entered the room all of the gang members stared at him. Danil thought to himself quickly.
“Where is G-dog? I am his weapons salesman.” Danil said smartly.
“Aw dog yeah! I was told yous comin tomorrow? Heh, dog he upstairs!” One of them said
“hey uh, dude! He asleep right now! I dunno if he gonna like you waking him up…” another said
“don’t worry comrade he will be fine when I wake him.” Danil lied
“hey du’ watch you gots for my man! Bet it some sort of M fo’!” said the biggest one
“it something small for him a new bullet. He will never need another bullet after he sees this one” Danil said evilly
Danil walked upstairs and attached the silencer to the Berretta. He walked into the room he assumed was the bedroom, and saw G-dog asleep in the bed.
G-dog was what is known as a wigger a wanna-be ni- well you get what I mean. he was pale white and he wore a green basketball jersey hung on a lamp was a green trucker hat which Danil was standing beside. He raised the gun and pointed it at the wiggers face. *click* G-dog was dead. When he fired, the  bullet made a slight hole in the wiggers forehead.
A few seconds after he shot he knew the gang-members were alarmed so he jumped out the window, grabbing onto the window-sill once he was ready to jump he did and as he hit the ground he rolled to absorb the pain. He then started to run as fast as he could. The gang-members began to chase after him.
Danil was jumping over the fences so easily that the gang members were falling behind. Danil was very skilled at parkour, no one who needed to catch up, with him ever did. To get away from the gang members even further he cut into a narrow alleyway between two houses. At the end of the alley, about 5 metres deep, was a high brick wall about thirteen feet tall. Danil put his right foot on the right wall and his left foot on the left wall and he began to climb up rapidly. Eventually he reached the top of the wall at that point the gang members were attempting to climb the wall themselves. Danil ran across the roofs of the houses and came to the edge of one, at 120th street, which was attached to a garage. He jumped down onto that and rolled. The garage was open so he jumped onto the gate then jumped from that onto the grass.
Once he reached the motel he ran inside and got his bag. From there he got into the Honda and slowly drove away, not to cause any attention. On his journey out of Queens he stopped by a gun store which wasn’t far from the motel he bought one Uzi and seven clips and returned to the car.
He stumbled by 121st and saw there was no car outside G-dogs house he was concerned that maybe the Gang-members were out looking for him. He was right in thinking that. When he passed 121st a Pontiac GTO low-rider approached him from the rear, it started to go faster and faster until it bumped into the back of the Honda. Danil couldn’t see the faces properly but he knew it was the Gang that was chasing him earlier because of the green.
The three men who sat in the back seat, had started to sit on the back of the Pontiac and each raised an SMG in the air and started to fire, the driver and the passenger also fired an SMG out of the side of the Pontiac. Some bullets hit the car as Danil tried to evade them. *clank* *clank* *clank*. bullets started to bounce off the car. *smash* one bullet hit the wing mirror. This was not like any movie, if a bullet hit the car it meant Danil could get hurt. Danil reached for the Uzi and attached a fresh Magazine he pointed the gun at the car of the enemy and proceeded to shoot. Bullets hit the headlight, the grill and the bonnet. The gang members continued to shoot however they hit the rear windscreen and the passenger head rest. Danil didn’t hesitate to continue shooting, bullets hit everywhere but were they were supposed to. While Danil shot the gang members missed him completely.
After five minutes of shooting, Danil couldn’t take anymore of this. He decide to kill them at any cost. He swerved from side to side shooting continuously. The gun shot rapidly.
“I’s hit!” said the biggest one.
“Ah I‘m hit!” said the smallest
“Aw DU’ pull ova’!” said the one in the passenger seat
The car pulled over but Danil could not let himself be known by these witnesses. He made a sharp U-turn and drove forward. As he passed the by he shot out of the opposite side of the car hitting three men. But he could hear groans he stopped the car and stepped out. No one seemed to be around. He slowly approached the gang members as they lay on the ground writhing in pain. He pointed the Berretta and shot one in the head, he took aim at another gang-member and shot. He took aim at the biggest one but he reached for an SMG and tried to shot at Danil.
“Ow!” he yelled as he was shot in the arm.
Danil reach for his ankle where he had stored his survival knife. He crawled towards the biggest Gang-member and slit his throat. He slowly rose from the ground and kicked the last surviving gang member in the face and shot him in the heart. He slowly walked away from the scene and drove off in his now wrecked Honda Civic.
He arrived back at the company another Eight hours later.

{An assassins story} Chapter Three "Aleksandr"

As Danil slept by his loving wife, he started to dream. Every night after an assassination, he would lie in bed beside his wife and every night ended up the same. He would have a dream, as if he was living the life as one of his ancestors.

“Aleksandr! We need you in here.” said a distant voice.
“What is it comrade?” said the voice, Thought to be Danil’s
“Alek. We need someone to be… out of the picture.”
“Who?”
“He is someone who has been interfering in our plans.”
“What is his name?”
“Dmitri Titov. He is a double agent, working for the axis.”
“Where can I find him?”
“He stays in a small house, secluded by the River three kilometres north-west of the camp.”
“Ok, I will handle the rest myself.”

Aleksandr, walk out of the small green tent where he conversed with the sergeants of a group situated south-east of a certain base during February to April 1943.
He walked across the camp to his tent. Inside the small green tent was on bed and a table, under that table was two sub-machine guns (an MP40 and a Thompson) with ten magazines, an RPG with two rockets, five fragment grenades and a set of chemicals that were in two separate suitcases under the desk.
Aleksandr approached the suitcase and placed it on the top of the table. He opened the case revealing a set of 45 test tubes, each with a separate chemical inside and a rubber stopper that sealed the tube. He picked up a tube which had aluminium-oxide inside, then another tube which had iodine inside. He took a grenade and emptied out the contents. Then he put the aluminium-oxide and iodine into the container for the grenade. He then took three tubes and combined them together to create a poison, to silently eliminate the target.

Aleksandr walked through a forest to reach the targets home. As he got closer to the house he decided to hide by the river bank. He carried his personal smoke bomb high up on his body so it wouldn’t hit the water when he got into the river. If water mixed with the bomb it would start to smoke with the strange thick purple smoke, which turns orange the further it goes into the air. He used this as a personal warning to his targets. He stepped into the river slowly, not to make a sound. He slowly approached the house and creped up to the side window, he looked in but no one was there. He climbed inside a saw a staircase. He heard footsteps and as soon as he did he jumped into the room under the stairs. A figure appears from the stairs slowly but turned away from Aleksandr and walked on. Aleksandr walked slowly out of room under the stairs and took out his smoke bomb, poured a drop of water into the bomb and threw it out of a window facing out to the front of the house.
Dmitri came running down the stairs to see the problem.
“big mistake comrade.” Aleksandr said to himself, as he ran upstairs to find the glass of water Dmitri had been drinking.
Once he got upstairs he took out the test tube with poison inside it. He poured the clear solution into the glass and climbed down the window of the bathroom. While inside the bathroom Danil heard Dmitri come back upstairs. Once he reached the ground he heard a bang against the ground. He knew Dmitri was dead.
Aleksandr ran back to his base as quick as a fox but the dream skipped the trip. When the dream resumed he was at the base, behind a tent.

“Yes comrade Jackson, I have someone on him as we speak, Dmitri should be dead within the hour.” Said the Sergeant major
“Do you think you can trust him?” said an American accent.
“Trust him?” the Sergeant major replied “I can do more than trust him!”
“Impressive!” said the American
“I would leave my life in his hands if I needed. So to ask me if I trust him is like saying, does a bear hunt fish, is the pope catholic?”
“Ok sir I get it!”
A smile grew on Aleksandrs face. He approached the entrance to the tent but still listened in.
“Comrade Jackson, Aleksandr is the greatest assassin to join the Allies.” the sergeant major said with pride.
“You called Comrade?” Aleksandr said with a grin on his face
“Aaaahhh Aleksandr. I was just saying about the assassination! Is it done?”
“Yes sergeant, As far as I know he is no more.”
“Very nice work Aleksandr.”
“So you are Alexander correct?” Said the American
“No, no, no, Aleksandr!” corrected Aleksandr
“Yes that’s what I said: Alexander”
“No, Alek…” said Aleksandr
“Alek?” Repeated the American
“sandr.”
“Sander?”
“Now say the full thing…”
“Alexsander?”
“Almost. Just call me ‘Elstin’.”
“Alright then Elstin, How were you trained to be such an assassin?”
“My father and my Uncle trained me as a child, at the age of fifteen I could invade a house, rob it while people were inside and they would not know.”

Then they laughed and once that happened, Danil woke from his sleep. He sat up in his bed and turn to the clock. 10:52. He decided to go downstairs and finish some filing. When he got down he noticed his wife and her friend were smoking cigarettes while drinking  freshly made coffee. They were telling stories and laughing together, Danil Thought that maybe the laughter at the end of his dream may have been his wife.
He walked into the kitchen and greeted his wife with a kiss on the head.
“how are you my dear?”
“Ah Morning, say hello to Katie!”
“Good morning Katie, how have you been?”
“I’m very good thank you!”

Katie and Danil’s wife had been friends since Danil’s company moved to America in 1997. Katie had lived in Buffalo for 17 years, when Danil had enough money to buy a better house, than the small Buffalo Apartment that he had lived in before, he thought he would do something nice for his wife and bought a house close to Katie.
Danil’s wife worked with Katie for five years, until Danil’s wife was laid off. They still stayed in contact. When they moved closer to Katie, they got even closer. Katie comes over almost every morning.

{title pending}: Chapter Two "Vladimir Elstin"

Danil entered the lounge of his ‘company’s’ Bureau, it was a dim light room, black marble bordered the red carpets in the entrance hall. Straight ahead of the door was a black marble desk, with gold boarders and an original Manet painting that takes up most of the wall. Beside the painting is a doorway which leads upstairs.
Vladimir walked out of that very doorway wearing a white suit with a black shirt and white tie.
“Comrade Elstin.” said Danil to the old man.
“Danil, my son, how did the assassination go?” Vladimir asked.
“Well, my Father, Victor will not be dealing Cocaine anymore!” He answered.
“Well done,”
Vladimir approached the desk. He rustled through some paper and pulled out a check.
“for you.” he said grinning.
Danil stared at the check with delight. Written on the check said $10,000.
“Just enough to pay for the next few weeks!” Joked Danil.
“Are you ready for another Assassination or do you want me to get your brother to do it?” Vladimir said with a grin.
Danil smiled,
“Who do I have to kill?”
“He’s a low life Pimp one of his women ordered the kill, she said he’s not paying them enough. It will be easy for you he stays at his house in Queens until Eight pm when he brings his women out to their locations. Then he goes back home at ten o’ clock. Here is his profile and details.”  Vladimir stated handing him a piece of paper with a Polaroid photograph attached to it.
Danil smiled and nodded. He walked towards the red leather couches and sat down. He read over the paper and stood back up he walked towards the desk, Vladimir had gone back upstairs. He put the profile in a drawer, inside that drawer he found a silenced Beretta m9.
“Hm, Italian… I wonder if its good.” He said as he raising the gun.
Danil unscrewed the silencer and placed it in his pocket, He then took the gun and put it in a holster attached to his belt. He closed his leather jacket and walked out the door of his bureau.
Outside were six parking spaces, three on each side. Two parking spaces were empty. One car was Vladimir’s 1984 Green Jaguar XJS, another was Danil’s Brothers 1997 Red Mercedes SL500, the second last car was the Bureau’s Decoy 1992 Green Honda Civic and the last car was Danil’s 2007 Yellow Chevrolet Camaro which he stepped into.
In the car he put the Beretta into the Glove compartment. He took the belt and packed it away in the sniper rifles case and placed the case in the back seat of the Camaro and sat back. He turned on the radio to a channel he was fond of, Run by a friend of Vladimir’s. Danil placed his mobile phone in the hands free kit and dialled in a number.

    *dial tone*
“hello?” said a women’s voice
“hello, my dear!” Danil replied
“Husband! How are you?”
“Well, my dear! I have been paid by the way!”
“Well done! How much have you been paid this week?”
“Ten thousand.”
“Oh my Husband that’s great! Do you have to do another hit soon?”
“Yes, I Do. It is in Queens.”
“Oh, then you can drop into my mother, see how she is feeling!”
“Good idea…” he said frowning
“I will stop at her house to see how she is feeling. Right now I will be coming home to pack.” he finished
“Ok I will see you when you get home, Goodbye!” His wife said
    *dial tone*

Danil started to rev his car and drove off, still in a good mood. He stopped off at a bank to cash in the check and take out money for the trip to Queens.
Danil arrived at his house at twelve o’clock midnight. He Staggered up the stairs, of his buffalo home, to his án suite bedroom and fell onto his king size bed where his wife lay asleep. His wife woke up slowly.
“My husband? You are home! Come! Lie in bed with me!” she said politely
“My wife. I am so tired. I need to sleep!” Stated Danil
Danil climbed into his bed and hugged his wife and fell asleep, his wife put her arm around Danil’s chest. They fell asleep together as a loving couple would.

{title pending}: Chapter One "Victor Right"

Danil paced around his room waiting by his sniper rifle (the SV-98). He glanced over at the window of his room, then walked towards it. He Picked his gun up as if he was about to shoot. He approached the scope and peered into a room a floor below his own, across the street. No one was home yet.
He was secluded on a floor with hardly anyone else on it, the next occupied room was three doors down so he knew, when he takes the shot he wouldn’t be heard. Even if a gun is silenced like his own, he still is at risk of being heard.
He lowered the rifle down so he could peer at the streets. Eight stories high, Danil knew he’d kill ‘him’ without anyone knowing. He stood up and stepped away from his rifle. He turned to vanity desk in his room, picked up a cup and drank from it. He took in a deep breath then went back to his rifle. He peered down at the street again and stared at the entrance to the opposite building. A man in a leather trench coat entered his sight. It was him ‘Victor Right’ a cocaine dealer from Brooklyn.
“Danil calm yourself down, he has been shot three times before you, if you screw this up he may still live… then you wont be paid” He said to himself Quietly.
One and a half minutes later a figure entered Victors room it was the Maid, Victor followed her into the room with the days newspaper and two letters. Victor glanced at the Maid and smiled while Danil fell on his bed in anger.
“Shit! Why did the maid have to come in now, of all times!” He Thought to himself.
Danil looked around his room, it was very small. One bed, one small Closet, where he had stored his sniper for the past day, a T.V. on a small vanity desk and a very small room for the toilet and a shower. He could understand why it was only $35 a night. He looked up at the one window in his room which had a black blind hanging down just over the scopes view, anyone who looked in would only see black, as if no one was inside. The lights were all off too, which made it even harder to see him and the Rifle.
He sat back up and looked through his scope again grinning with delight as he noticed the maid was gone he looked around the room to double check and was certain she was gone, once he confirmed that he took aim at Victor who was sitting on his bed looking at the T.V. he pressed his finger slowly against the trigger, his target was dead centre on his heads temple.
*click* the gun fired with hardly any sound. Victor Right, was no more. As soon as he came back from the recoil of the gun he knew, that was a Job Well Done. Victors head had been Distributed all around his room Victor was lying on a blood soaked bed. From his upper jaw top the top of his head was clean off.
“We Russians Make great Guns!” Danil said with pride.
He took in another deep breath and sat away from his Rifle. He picked up the gun which he had owned since its release in 1998. He placed it on the bed and dismantled it carefully, not that he needed to but because he cherished that gun. He packed it away in a steel case which was then packed in weekend travel case.
Danil left his room with a smile on his face. He headed for the stairs and skipped down them. He went to the reception desk to pay for his stay.
“What room were you in sir?” Asked the Receptionist
“Room 84. Here is the key!” Danil said still grinning
“O…k… that’ll be 45.83, will you be paying in cash or credit card?” continued the receptionist
“Cash.”
“Thank you sir, have you enjoyed your stay?”
“Oh yes! Thank you very much.”
“It’s our pleasure.”
“Keep the Change, as a Tip…”
“Why Thank you sir, we hope to see you again sometime!”
Danil turned and headed for the door.
“Goodbye!” He said waving his hand behind his head. As he Disappeared into the bright sunlight.

Once he got to the car park He opened the door of his ‘92 Honda civic and drove far away from the Hotel. As he fled the scene he noticed an ambulance rushing down the road, he thought to himself “I wonder if that was for Victor…” then Danil smiled and laughed to himself and continued driving.
